Road Rage

Last night was one of the scariest (I think) experiences I had on the road.

I was rushing to the boxing gym in Sta. Rosa, I took SLEX from my office in Taguig going to Sta. Rosa.  Somewhere near Binan Exit, I was on the fast lane, my speed was 100kph which is the speed limit in SLEX.  An SUV at my back kept flashing his headlights, it caught my attention and I got irritated that's why I put my car on hazard lights while still driving at 100kph.  I couldn't get his point flashing his headlights since my speed was at 100kph.  When the SUV had a chance to overtake, the driver opened his window when he was beside me then he stared at me (I knew because of my peripheral vision or side vision) then when he was in front of my car he made some hand signals, I only noticed the last hand signal he made pointing to the right.  I was shaking at that time and I wanted to chase him but my guardian angel stopped me from chasing him (aside from the fact that he's really fast, my car can't chase that big vehicle.  I thank God for not letting me do the wrong move.)

I just prayed "Lord, turuan nyo po yung driver na yun ng leksyon, kayo na po bahala sa kanya."

When I reached the gym, my hubby was waiting for me and I couldn't help but cry sa sobrang inis.

It could have been a different story if I did the wrong move.  Thank You Lord for always guiding me.

Road rage is aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile or other road vehicle. Such behavior might include rude gestures, verbal insults, deliberately driving in an unsafe or threatening manner, or making threats. Road rage can lead to altercations, assaults, and collisions that result in injuries and even deaths. (wikipedia)
