Surprise Blessings! (God is really good.)

Business Trip again.  Away from my family.  I love my job but there is really a downside.  You cannot have the best of both worlds.  Time management is the key, have quality time with your family and do your best in your career.  Ask for God's guidance then, Voila! you'll have a wonderful life :)

When you travel, you experience so many things and that experience one way or another teaches you to grow smarter and braver.

In 2010, I had a business trip in Japan with Kaye, one of my officemates/friends.  After our lunch, we decided to pass by a bookstore at the ground floor of the building where the office we report to is located.  When we just entered the store, I didn't control myself from falling, it happened so fast.  I had a swollen forehead.  Suddenly, an ambulance came and a stretcher was pulled inside the room where the Store Manager/Sales Lady brought me.  I was shocked that their emergency team was so fast and in just a matter of 5-10 minutes, surprise! They were there!  I salute their emergency team.  In the end, I didn't agree to bring me to the hospital as I was really ok and it didn't hurt much.

Fast forward, last night (January 20), at this hotel where I stay, I created a smoke, a big smoke!!! (Gosh!) I was about to deep fry the chicken so I can have my packed lunch tomorrow but the cooking didn't happen at all because of that big smoke.  I let the pan heat with the cooking oil on it, while waiting, I was talking to my dear hubby then after that I talked with Sean, one of my teammates/friends, on the phone, to my surprise, the fire detector alarmed...then I put the phone down and Voila! the firemen came....Oh my! what an experience.  I forgot the cooking oil....waaaahhhh

Thankful that I didn't fall asleep while waiting for the pan with cooking oil to heat, otherwise, (knock on wood) a serious accident may happen.  Thank God I am safe.  I apologized to other hotel guests that I caused some hassle that they need to get out of their rooms as an SOP.  Sorry about that.

Lesson learned:  I will dine out for lunch kesehodang madaming work.  I'll find time to eat.

God is good all the time! :)
