Maling Tama (gulo no?)

Gosh! It's October now and my last post here was last May, can't believe it. Anyway, to my blog readers (naks parang ang dami nila at feelingera lang tlaga! :), so sorry hahaha (pagbigyan na :)

Yesterday, October 25, we had so much fun and we were so busy. It was my tatay's 72nd birthday, we ate lunch at SIS Seaside restaurant, our favorite venue for birthday celebrations.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take pictures of the whole family.  Nevertheless, the memories are in our hearts and that's the most important thing. I wish my tatay good health so we could spend more time with him here on earth.  We love tatay so much that he needs to sacrifice so many years to be away from us to support our studies and all our needs from 1981-1996. He was an OFW when we were kids. We thank him for that for without him together with nanay, we will never make it to where we are now.  Thank God for giving us a very wonderful set of parents.  I've learned that in life anyone can make mistakes, we just need to accept and forgive the people who have wronged us. It's part of life's journey :)

In the afternoon, kuya Kiel and I attended his classmate's birthday celebration, Happy at Johnny Rockets ATC. At first I was hesitant to attend since I only know one mommy of Kiel's classmate.  I allowed him to attend since he really wanted to go and be with his classmates.  The problem with me is that I'm too shy to mingle with other persons especially that it's only my first time to see them, I'm like a kid who needs to warm up first before giving his/her smile to strangers hahaha. Haller, I'm 36 and I still feel like a kid???...Hehehe

Glad to see that Kuya Kiel was so confident to participate any games and I need not to convince him to join. Hehe walang pilitang naganap hehe I was surprised that he was already in front and raising his hand to volunteer (what a bibo kid?! Si nanay mo nung bata, sobrang hindi ganyan hehe).  I admire Kiel for being like that whenever we attend birthday parties which is a good thing.  I saw him enjoying playing with his classmates and they're friends :). I thought he has a hard time dealing with his classmates since he is one of the youngest kids in their class.  Kuya Kiel proved me wrong.

The mommy of the bday girl was so accommodating when we arrived.  They even had their pictures taken already.....

The kids enjoyed watching the puppet show and the magic tricks of the magician.  Happy to see Kuya Kiel really enjoyed the party.

Right after the magic and puppet show, the birthday girl gave her souvenirs to all kids guests.  I was waiting for Kuya Kiel and it took him awhile to go back to our table and when he went back, he was carrying 2 give-aways.  I asked him why he had 2 give-aways, he told me that he approached Happy's mom and told her that "I have a brother", in short, he asked for another souvenir item.  At first, I asked him to give it back to Happy's mom since he was only the one invited and not with his brother.  On second thought, I appreciate Kuya Kiel's concern for his little bro, Ethan.  When we said goodbye to the bday girl with her mom, I just told the mom that so sorry that Kiel asked for another souvenir item.  She said, "no, it's ok, actually, natutuwa ako sa kanya kasi game siya." I just wanted to think that this statement is on a positive note.  Good vibes lang.  I just told Kuya Kiel not to do it again but I told him too that I appreciate that he's thinking of his little brother, it's his way of showing love to his brother.  Sometimes, it's hard to be so strict when it comes to birthday etiquette when you know that "They are only kids!" and they are just enjoying the party.

Sometimes, ang mga mali pag ginagawa ng mga bata nagiging tama! (sarap maging kids uli.....)

Love you Kuya Kiel for loving Ethan, too.

More photos from the party.....
